A ‘Contractual’ Duty of Candour Instead of Legal Duty

The government fails to include a statutory Duty of Candour in the Health & Social Care bill. Instead there will be a ‘contractual duty’. A watered down version that isn’t legally enforceable and doesn’t give patients any actual rights.
